Photography is more than just a profession for me; it's a calling. I believe that every moment, whether big or small, carries its own unique beauty. It's my mission to freeze those fleeting seconds in time so that you can relive them forever.
The thrill of capturing that genuine smile during a wedding, the energy of a live concert, or the intensity of a sporting event is what fuels my passion. There's nothing quite like the feeling of knowing that my photographs will become cherished memories for my clients.
Preparation and Planning: As your photographer, before the big day I like to have a chance to discuss you preferences, style, and any specific shots you want. This helps me plan my approach and ensure I capture the moments that matter most to you!
Styles of Wedding Photography: What are you looking for in your wedding photos?
- Traditional/Classic: Involves posed and formal shots of the couple and their families, often with a focus on capturing key moments like exchanging rings and vows.
- Photojournalistic/Candid: This style emphasizes capturing candid moments as they unfold. Photographers aim to tell the story of the day by capturing emotions, reactions, and unscripted moments.
- Artistic/Fine Art: This style involves more creative and artistic shots, often using unique angles, lighting, and composition to create visually stunning images.
- Fashion/Editorial: This style takes inspiration from fashion photography and often involves stylized shots, posing, and attention to detail.
Equipment: I use professional-grade equipment, including high-quality cameras, a variety of lenses, and lighting equipment to ensure I capture clear images in different settings.
Timing and Coordination: I'm skilled at working in dynamic and time-sensitive environments. I'll be present for key moments such as the ceremony, reception, and often pre-wedding preparations.
Post-Processing: After the wedding, I'll edit and enhance the images to ensure they look their best. This can involve color correction, retouching, and applying various effects to achieve the desired final look, while keeping everything looking as natural as possible.
Albums and Deliverables: Once the photos are complete, I'll send you a digital album. This will include the high resolution versions suitable for printing, as well as smaller versions suitable for sharing with your loved ones through email or online posts.
Contracts and Agreements: I have a clear and simple contract that's important to outline the services I will provide, the costs involved, and the rights to the images. This helps prevent misunderstandings down the line.
Backup Plans: As a professional wedding photographer, I have backup equipment and backup plans in case of technical issues or unexpected challenges.
